“I’ve made hummus and there is kisch for your protein and salad. Then we’ll have coffee and tea to celebrate life” our host said as she picked us up in the small town of Neuchatel. And sure we celebrated life, with mini cookies and Turkish black tea.
We are in Valangin – just outside Neuchatel – surfing the double bed of an artist. Talking about love and dating and age and being happy alone we are having a real girls evening. I can feel it’s long ago, and needed!
On our way here we got a ride with a man out of Lausanne. He wasn’t really going very far but said “I have nothing special and I enjoy driving, I’ll take you all the way. It’s ok.” And with those words he took a 150 km detour to Neuchatel and gave us a tour around the Swiss countryside showing us small villages and big castles.
